Hello, I'm Sam. I'm a counsellor and hypnotherapist. I practice in an integrative way, including person centred, CBT and hypnotherapy is desired. Basically, I'm here to work with you on however you need your session to be. I believe that you, as the client, are in charge, and we will work however is best for you. This can be using 'homework' mentoring, going through life happenings, and just talking it all through. I provide a safe space for you to explore what's happening, and find ways for you to move forward.

My office is located in Benfleet, next to a large (free) carpark. It is a warm and safe place next to a pleasant park. The office is separate rom the houses around, and has its own entrance just for clients. 

The first session will be spent getting to know each other. I'll go through what I offer and how I work, but mainly we will spend this time finding out what's going on for you, what you want, and how we can begin to move you forward.

The first session, as with subsequent ones, will be 50 minutes long.

I offer supervision to both qualified therapists and students. I'm also a tutor and have taught both counselling and hypnotherapy, and have worked as a counsellor for over eleven years.

I offer a non judgemental space to explore your work and your feelings around it. Offering a safe space to others can be taxing, and also amazing, and it's important that you feel safe to share whatever you need to.

I work in a person centred way, concentrating on being formative, normative and restorative in my approach.

I am also able to invoice colleges/organisations if this is what you need.

At this time, I am offering phone/FaceTime/zoom appointments.

I'll go through what I offer and how I work, and that I am able to be fluid along with your way of working. We'll go through any paperwork needed and what position you're in. We will then go through your clients and whatever you would like to bring.
