We’re available to support applicants who submitted an application for accreditation before the scheme temporarily closed on Tuesday 31 October 2023, as well as those with deferred applications

What we offer

We're working to develop and increase the accessibility of our accreditation scheme.

We'll let you know of any new developments. We also welcome feedback on how we can make the process more accessible.

If you identify as living with a disability, learning difference or long-term health condition, we can currently offer the following support to help remove any barriers you may experience with the application process:

  • 10% additional word limit on your reflective practice documents
  • word version of the application form
  • additional support from our Support and Inclusion Officer throughout the application process by email or phone
  • a range of financial support based on your circumstances from 1 June 2023

If you need support or have any specific questions about your application, please contact the accreditation team. You can also check our Accreditation FAQs.

Other support

Audio application

All application routes are temporarily closed until the SCoPEd transition period opens in February 2024. Information regarding the audio application process will be available at this time.

These offer support to applicants needing guidance with the reflective practice criteria who would benefit from speaking one-to-one with an assessor. Sessions last 30 minutes and cost £25. Please email the accreditations team to book an appointment.

During the temporary accreditation closure, telesurgeries will only be available to applicants with deferred applications. They will open again for all members, including those who're working on putting together a new accreditation application, from February 2024.
