About me and my therapy practiceYou may find yourself looking for a counsellor for a variety of reasons. When life presents its many challenges it can sometimes be difficult to share our most personal thoughts and feelings with the people we are closest to. As an experienced counsellor I can provide the space and time within a peaceful setting to listen to you without judgement or criticism.
I am an integrative therapist which means that I can use a variety of counselling styles/models to best meet your needs.
I am currently offering online counselling through Skype, Zoom or telephone during the current COVID 19 pandemic whilst face to face counselling is not always possible due to distancing or quarantine.
My first session
The professional relationship between the counsellor and client is fundamental to the counselling process. You will need to be able to trust and feel safe with me in order to talk freely. For this reason I offer a free 30 minute introductory session which allows us to discuss whether counselling is appropriate for you, or whether you need more specialist intervention. By the end of the assessment we will be in a better position to decide how to proceed.
