My approach is very person- centred and is all about you the client and what you bring to the sessions. I can work in the short term or in longer term sessions, the pace is up to you and the choices are yours. 

I can offer daytime, evening and Saturday morning appointments which are available in my own counselling room in  a private setting.

During the first session I will usually take a few details from you and explain the way in which we will work together. This introductory session gives you the chance to see whether you feel I am the right therapist for you. It is important that you feel comfortable in the environment and that I am able to offer the support you feel you need.

I have been passionate about supervision for many years and have worked as a clinical supervisor within the NHS and as a supervisor of counsellors, both trainees and established therapists. I work in the Person - Centred paradigm primarily. I am also a college lecturer,  teaching counselling studies It is a privilege to support practitioners in a collegiate working alliance to enhance the work they do and ensure professional standards are maintained. 

I am curretly a supervisor for clinical nursing staff within the NHS, both at RCHT and within the CFT Partnership Trust. 

My first session will include a short assessment to explain how we will work and identify what is bringing you to therapy. The first session gives you a chance to see whether you think I am able to offer the help you need. The fee for the first session is £20 and thereafter £40.
