About me and my therapy practice

“It is ok to get lost every once in a while. Sometimes getting lost is how we find ourselves"

Through my own professional and personal experiences counselling has taught me that all challenges, no matter how difficult or painful can bring opportunities for growth and empowerment. Counselling is a journey, it can be long or short term but it must have certain factors in place to allow change. What I offer you is a safe environment where you can feel able to share with me the issues you are facing, to feel listened to without passing judgment and together looking at ways to create a way forward.

Working with all ages from 3yr to 89yr+ requires different approaches with each individual. As an Integrative counsellor it enables me to draw on several different therapeutic approaches which I tailor to the needs of each client. When working with children I work very gently to understand their life events. By using creative play it allows me to enter their world from their perspective. I have undertaken further specialized training in areas of Couples Counselling, Child Abuse and Autism along with my CPCAB qualification in Children’s Counselling.

I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Working within their Ethical Framework of good practice, it also means I am committed to my personal and professional development as well as attending regular Clinical Supervision.

I am DBS checked and hold full Professional Civil Liability Insurance.

I work in Banbury on Mondays 9-5pm. Marlborough on Tuesdays 9-5pm (extended hours by prior arrangement)

Isle of Wight on Wednesday through to Saturdays flexible hours.

I offer Walk and Talk therapy from my IOW practice swell as home visits by arrangement (IOW)

Please contact me if you require further details and fees.
