About me and my therapy practice
I offer Counselling, Psychotherapy and Personal Growth work within a safe and friendly therapeutic relationship.
I have resumed face to face work in a Covid safe way and i'm also working on Zoom video conferencing or by phone.
My approach is informed by many years of transformational work and by my training in Integrative Psychotherapy. I describe it as holistic, paying attention to all aspects of what it is to be human: physical, emotional, psychological, social and spiritual. I work in awareness of these aspects being interlinked and important in our overall sense of well being and wholeness.
Sometimes the work together will be for a few weeks or months, attending to a specific issue. Sometimes it will be more longterm, attending to deeper issues and concerns.
I know that as human beings we all have the potential to transform and heal from the effects of adverse life events, even if this has been years or decades ago.
The main aim is always, ultimately, to increase your sense of well being.
My first session
I know it can be difficult making first approaches in choosing your therapist and how important it is to find the right person to work with.
I am happy to offer an initial 30 minute Zoom or phone call, at no cost, in which we can explore how we might work together and whether we are a good fit.
