About me and my therapy practice
As an integrative therapist, I work with an open person-centred focus when drawing on the various tools and resources that aide life transitions, stress, depression, cognitive distortions, emotion regulation, distress tolerance or recovery from trauma and abuse.
What would our sessions look like?
You may find yourself experiencing unconscious behavioural, emotional or physiological responses, and certain thoughts around external situations, people or deep-rooted beliefs. Therapy looks at what shows up for you and how this causes distress in your life, moving towards clarity and inner resourcefulness.
Linking together your whole human experience of mind, body and soul, our work leans in with curiosity, and courage at the challenges being faced. Together we'll explore what comes up for you with integrity and unconditional acceptance.
When words are difficult to find during sessions, creative tools such as visualisations, dream work, drawing, poetry, music or conversation cards are always an option.
Trust takes time to build and safety needs to be experienced before building trust, so our work always moves at your pace.
Unsure of where to start?
I welcome you and your background, culture, gender and identity. It's recommended to get in contact for an initial consultation to experience what it would be like working together and to ask any questions around what a therapeutic plan could look like.
Starting therapy can be a daunting experience, so it's most important to feel safe and connected within a therapeutic relationship that works for you.
