About me and my therapy practice

I offer Face to face, Online and telephone counselling. I work as an  Integrative therapist. This means I have the tools to work in a variety of ways that are bespoke to the clients needs. This could include psychotherapy, existential, and other creative options. All therapy remains person-centred so the client achieves and learns their own ways of coping that they can then go on and use in their lives when they leave their therapy. All the tools are within you and aim to bring them out so you can go on and live a happier healthier lifestyle. 

Practice description

Integrative therapy is sometimes described as a holistic approach. It combines ideas and techniques from different therapeutic schools of thought. By combining different elements of different psychological theories, integrative therapy can often offer a more flexible and inclusive approach to treatment it considers your mental, physical, and emotional health in a unified way.

With a person-centred base, the client is always at the centre of the therapy.

Face to face therapy takes place in a private practice in Eaton Socon where there is plenty of on-road parking available. 

My first session

The first and sometimes the hardest step is to get this far.

The next? is attending therapy, also difficult.

That's why I like to offer a brief (free) telephone consultation to begin with. This gives you the opportunity to tell me a little about why you are coming to therapy, you can hear my voice and we can arrange your first session. 

The very first full session a conversational assessment takes place this is to help ascertain your current needs, both physical and emotional.
