About me and my therapy practice
I offer a confidential and professional counselling service, to individuals seeking psychological support.
I’m an experienced qualified and accredited BACP counsellor, holding a Diploma in Humanistic Counselling and have training in CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) and Positive Psychology. Providing short-term and longer-term more in-depth therapy to adults clients.
I’ve worked within an IAPT Service, as a counsellor (NHS Talking Therapies) Therefore, I’m experienced in delivering therapeutic interventions for a broad range of mental health difficulties. Some of which are: depression, anxiety, stress, bereavement, anger, low-mood, abuse, and low self-esteem. I also work in a School Trust, counselling children and young people.
Counselling is an opportunity to explore our thoughts, feelings and life situations, that may at times may cause us to feel anxious, confused or overwhelmed. It’s an opportunity to truly heard, in an environment of genuine acceptance and respect, conveying a sense of space for growth, healing and optimism.
My private practice is situated in a well-established Counselling Centre - there are good transport links, to rail and bus routes, with car parks nearby.
All appointments are booked in advance. Our initial meeting would be to determine our suitability to work together, and establish your therapeutic goals. If you have any questions, or would like more information about how I work; please call or email.
