About me and my therapy practice
I offer a confidential and professional counselling service, to adult clients seeking psychological support.
I’m an experienced qualified and accredited BACP counsellor, holding a Diploma in Humanistic Counselling, and have training in CBT and Positive Psychology.
I’ve worked within an IAPT Service (NHS Talking Therapies) and therefore, I’m experienced in delivering therapeutic interventions, for a broad range of mental health difficulties. Some of which are: depression, anxiety, OCD, stress, bereavement, anger, low-mood, abuse, and low self-esteem. I also work within a School Trust, counselling children and young people.
Therapy is an opportunity to explore our thoughts, feelings and life situations, in a non-judgemental, safe environment, where we can feel truly heard and accepted, conveying a sense of space for growth, healing and optimism.
It’s a place to raise awareness, to be curious about ourselves; bringing the unconscious to conscious-awareness, and from awareness comes choice.
“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate”. CG Jung.
I work from a well-established Counselling & Therapy Centre - there are good public transport links and nearby car parks.
All appointments are booked in advance. Our initial meeting would be to determine our suitability to work together, and establish your therapeutic goals. If you have any questions, or would like to book an appointment, please call or email.
