About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced, qualified, and accredited BACP counsellor, holding a Diploma in Humanistic Counselling, and have received training in CBT and Positive Psychology.
I offer a confidential and professional counselling service, to adult and adolescent clients seeking therapeutic support. I have a particular interest in working with bereavement, and early life adversity.
Counselling is an opportunity to explore your thoughts, emotions, and life situations in a non-judgemental, safe environment. A place where you can feel heard and accepted, and be curious about yourself without censorship.
“Through awareness comes choice”
I work from an integrative perspective, which means I draw on several ideas and concepts from a range of theorists, tailoring my therapeutic interventions to you as a unique individual, not a one-size fits all approach.
I have experience working with, depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, self-harm, suicidal ideation, stress, bereavement, anger, low-mood, abuse, existential anxiety, ageing, loss, and low self-esteem.
I have worked therapeutically as a counsellor in a range of settings: Children’s Services with parents, Colleges of Further Education, Schools with adults, young people and children, and an IAPT Service (NHS Talking Therapies)
