About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified professional counsellor in Humanistic Person-Centred Counselling working from Haslemere in Surrey. At times life can be challenging, and it may be difficult to speak to our loved ones. I can provide a confidential, independent therapeutic relationship and trusting safe space to be heard and understood. I hope to enable you to explore any of your difficulties, with warmth and acceptance for who you are and without judgement. I believe that you are your own expert and I will explore alongside you facilitating your own self-discovery, listening and supporting you in piecing together your puzzle - helping you to gain clarity. I work with empathy, developing an understanding of how you experience your world. I believe in working authentically and ethically with transparency and honesty. I feel that trust is within the foundations of the therapeutic relationship, and by working together you can develop your self-awareness – getting to know yourself better, identifying your difficulties and challenges, and in doing so work towards possible change and developing personal growth. Working with a Humanistic approach, I believe that the client and counsellor relationship is at the core of the therapeutic process, with hope of developing an openness for deeper understanding of emotions, and finding freedom to be who you are.
