About me and my therapy practice
As a Person Centred therapist with over 15 years experience, I work using an integrative counselling approach.
For the past 10 years I have worked within the NHS offering evidenced based therapy approved by NICE to those experiencing depression or anxiety.
I have extensive experience working with clients who have experienced sexual, emotional and physical abuse. Other aspects of my work include working with bereavement, adjustment, trauma, work related stress, loss, illness/disability, sexual identity, self-esteem, and sexual problems.
As a fully qualified relationship therapist I also offer Couples therapy
Within my current practice I provide clinical supervision to both qualified and trainee counsellors.
Past experience demonstrated my ability to deliver courses around the psychological injury on victims of rape, historical sexual abuse and domestic violence to Lincolnshire Police.
As well as delivering parenting courses for Lincolnshire county council, I developed/delivered courses around self-esteem/confidence, building safe relationships, amongst others for parents, and those experiencing domestic violence.
