Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, down, having issues in your relationship or perhaps you're just wondering how it got to this ?
These thoughts and feelings can be isolating and, when allowed to, can take over. But, by taking these initial steps you’ve already accepted that this is not who or where you want to be; this is not your forever.
It’s a daunting process I know but by seeking help you are showing strength of character and a desire to feel happier. Counselling can help you achieve this as it provides a safe place in which you can explore your personal thoughts and feelings in a confidential and supportive environment.
Whether as a couple or an individual, a neutral space enables you to talk through the issues in a calmer, clearer way. It will allow you the opportunity to air your views and make the changes you feel would most benefit your relationship.
I’m a real person with real life experiences. There is no issue too big or too small that we can’t look at together.
Trained as an integrative counsellor I’m able to draw from a number of approaches including CBT, Psychodynamic, Person centred and others. None of us respond, react or feel the same way; we’re all unique. Therefore just using one approach may not suit you, and if that’s the case then we just won’t use it. As an integrative counsellor, the therapy is tailored to meet your needs. I will listen, I will hear you and where appropriate will help you implement tools into your life to give you back your sense of direction.
The overall aim is to gently help you explore the issues, find the possibilities and move forward.
