About me and my therapy practice
I offer a warm, supportive, creative and honest environment to explore what it is like being you.
Whether it's anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or something you don't have a word for yet, what's really important in therapy is the relationship that we build together. We will work collaboratively to find an approach to therapy which suits you.
While I work with a wide range of conditions or concerns, I have particular experience working alongside neurodiverse clients, people with disabilities/ health conditions and gender, sexuality and relationship diversity.
I am a BACP registered therapist who draws on psychodynamic and person-centred theory in my practice. This means we might spend time discussing present-day concerns, as well as events or relationships from your earlier life. Together, we'll explore how your past may have influenced your life and relationships, identifying how you can move forward.
I am currently completing my doctoral training in Counselling Psychology.
My first session
The first step is to arrange a consultation session. This is a 50 minute appointment where we will discuss what brings you to therapy and we can get a feel for how we will work together. The reduced fee for consultation sessions is £35.
If we decide to move forward we will usually arrange a regular weekly session.
