About me and my therapy practice
I believe that we all have the resources within ourselves to understand and heal from experiences we have found difficult to overcome. I endeavour to provide a safe, empathic, non-judgemental relationship, which will open up the potential for you to recognise and grasp those resources within you that seem to have long been hidden. Seeking help for what are considered to be mental health issues in our society can be difficult. Seeking help to work through events such as grief and trauma is not easy. You may find that in taking a step towards exploring what feels the most difficult to look at, is a step towards the you that feels lost.
I have had experience working with people who have found themselves struggling with the impact of Rape and sexual violence; Trauma; Abuse; Anxiety; Post Traumatic Stress; Grief; Disassociation; Depression.
I believe that investing in our mental health is an important step towards self-determination. I also recognise that financial struggles may prohibit the opportunity to do so. There will be a charge of £10 for our first session and my fee is negotiable for on going sessions in order to recognise your financial circumstance. It is my hope to provide affordable access to all.
