I imagine you'd like to find life more manageable, reduce your anxiety and engage in life more fully. Counselling with me can help to ease the pain you are feeling. It can support you to grow in confidence and live the life that you long to live. A better life is possible.

I'm Stuart and I'm a friendly and insightful counsellor trained to support you to overcome your difficulties and live a happier life.

We will begin by identifying why you have come to therapy and what your goals are. I will provide a space for you to share whatever is most important to you. Together we will explore your experience and I will encourage you towards deeper authenticity. My clients share that this helps them feel understood and accepted. It allows them to heal and grow.

I have personal and professional experience of working with overwhelm and "high sensitivity". At times I use mindfulness and meditation in sessions which are proven to aid healing and growth. I can support you to improve self care, avoid overwhelm, feel understood and to express yourself more authentically. Contact me to arrange a first session.

Practice description

Currently all my work is online using Zoom, Skype, and telephone counselling.

Online work has many benefits including no travel and having counselling from the comfort of your home.  In my experience it works as well as face to face counselling
