Working online enables me to accommodate my clients at different times.

I work Monday to Friday between 9.30 am - 9.00 pm.

Saturdays from 9.30 - 12.30.

About me and my therapy practice

I will listen to you and your concerns in a safe, empathic and confidential environment. I will respond to your story and communicate my understanding of what is troubling you and together we will explore how to manage your life better and how to best move forward in a way that suits you.

You will not be judged, analysed or told what to do and we will work together – at your pace - one step at a time. Our relationship will be based on honesty and acceptance.

My Integrative approach to counselling means that I believe that:

- we are shaped by our past and environment and have freedom of choice

- we are responsible for our own lives and given the right support can find meaning and happiness

Other approaches I integrate into my work when suitable:

- CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) - helpful for anxiety, stress and depression

- Psychodynamic Theory (exploring the past, relationships)

- Mindfulness (kindness, acceptance and managing stress)

- Coaching (goal setting etc)

Practice description

I am an fully qualified Integrative Counsellor and Supervisor with over 11 years experience and have undergone extensive, additional training to work effectively via the internet and telephone.

Working online enables me to accommodate supervisees anywhere in the UK.

I work Monday to Friday between 9.30 am - 9.00 pm.

Saturdays from 9.30 - 12.30.

About me and my therapy practice

I am an OCN Accredited Supervisor and experienced Integrative Counsellor and  have been in clinical practice for over 11 years. I support professionals in counselling , psychotherapy and those working in health & education, who wish to reflect on & develop their professional role.

As a Supervisor, I try to develop a relationship built on mutual respect, trust & honesty and adapt to my supervisee's individual learning needs and level of experience.

I offer a collaborative, educative and restorative space that allows you to understand the processes taking place in your relationship with clients or supervisees, enabling you to work ethically and effectively.

I uphold the BACP Ethical Framework and strongly believe that supervision should be a rich, insightful, and enhancing experience, delivered within a safe and encouraging, empathic environment.

Practice description

As most counsellors and supervisors are currently working online or over the phone, I felt it was important for me to undergo further training to provide effective online support.

I am a qualified  member of ACTO and am awaiting accreditation.

How I see supervision:

You have the opportunity to:

· Offload case material

· Reflect on practice, self-care & identify areas for further development

· Link theory to practice

· Identify and explore difficulties and how to proceed

· Recognise when own issues affect client work and identify how to manage this

· Acknowledge & celebrate good practice

My aim is that after our supervision session you will feel supported and that you gained a greater insight into your own process and your client work.

My first session

I offer a free first consultation as I feel it is vital to work with someone you feel comfortable with.  This first session is about getting to know each other and there is no pressure to make a decision straight away.

We will discuss your requirements and what I offer, to see if we are a good fit and I welcome any questions you may have.

If you do decide to go ahead, we will book a session to finalise our  therapeutic contract, where both parties will agree on how to proceed.
