About me and my therapy practice

My name is Daniel and I have been a psychotherapist since graduating with a Master's degree in counselling in 2006. I am an integrative psychotherapist which means I have experience in a number of modalities which I integrate together to give clients the best tailored approach for each individual. I have experience with

- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) which is great for depression,

-Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) great for coaching and changing unwanted habits

-Focussing - which helps clients learn self-acceptance, and decreasing guilt, self-criticism, etc

-Solution-Focussed and Brief Therapy, for developing goals and taking specific practical steps to overcoming challenges

-psychodynamic, for understanding hidden motivations and long-standing patterns that are resistant to behavioural change and

-person-centred which is great for experiencing acceptance, developing assertiveness, and gaining clarity on what matters most.

Each of these informs my approach and contributes great value to my clients. Together we determine objectives and goals for therapy.
