About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative counsellor and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). I work within the BACP ethical framework. I offer an integrative approach which means I use different counselling approaches which is tailored to the individual needs.I work with individual adults and young people and offer anything from short-term, counselling to long-term counselling according to your needs.
My aim is to listen and create a non judgemental environment so you feel comfortable to explore what you need.
I work with a range of clients who bring issues including abuse, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, suicidal thoughts, voice hearers, self- harm and many more.
I have a purpose built counselling room based in Tadcaster that provides a safe space to explore your difficulties.
To begin counselling please contact by telephone or email to set up an initial session. We will then discuss what you would like to achieve from counselling. If you're happy after the first session, we would arrange a second session and will discuss how often our sessions will be.
