About me and my therapy practice
I am a fully qualified Counsellor, registered with BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy).
I began my professional life working in a psychiatric unit for four years and from there, I decided that I wanted to provide a more holistic form of care and talking therapy is something that I believe provides this.
From 2012 to early 2021, I split my time between working as a counsellor in a private practice in Bristol, and as Head Counsellor at the Sporting Chance Clinic. Sporting Chance Clinic is the only residential treatment centre in the world dedicated to working with elite and professional sportsmen and sportswomen suffering with addiction.
After nine years, I decided to commit my time running my own private practice, Andrew Jordan Psychotherapy, working on a wide range of issues.
