About me and my therapy practice
Hello and a warm welcome. I imagine you have arrived here looking for some support with difficulties you're experiencing. You may be feeling overwhelmed, sad, anxious, depressed, confused or maybe you want a better relationship with yourself and others, and to make better choices.
Whatever you bring to therapy, I can offer you a trusting relationship in a confidential, comfortable and safe space where you can explore your experiences, thoughts and feelings without judgment.
We are slowly shaped by our childhood our relationships and experiences and out of awareness we adapt our behaviour to fit in with others' expectations. I can support you in finding your 'authentic' self, some inner peace and resilience to deal with life's challenges.
My focus is to create a warm and relaxed relationship, I am a down to earth character and have experienced difficulties in my own life, I believe this has given me the ability to be even more attuned to my clients.
I am a qualified Humanistic Counsellor and member of the BACP.
My first session
Finding the right counsellor is very important and can seem a daunting process, for this reason I offer a free face-to-face no obligation initial consultation to see if you feel comfortable working with me.
