About me and my therapy practice
Sometimes life feels too hard, or too difficult to make sense of. We may feel angry, fearful, or disconnected without really knowing why. We may have obstacles or events thrown at us that we feel we can’t handle. We may have experienced deep sadness or trauma that has had a lasting impact. We may simply feel stuck, lost, or confused.
If you feel like you need someone to listen and to help you make sense of whatever is holding you back, please contact me. We can have an initial conversation (at no cost to you), and if you feel that the right connection is there, we can work together to help you move forward again.
By exploring your experiences and feelings in a safe and respectful way, I hope to help you gain more insight into yourself, and a better understanding of how you relate to the world. Life is short: let me help you to find and embrace the connection, fulfillment, and joy that make us human.
I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy which gives me a broad range of modalities to draw upon during our work together. My training means that I can really tailor my approach to your needs.
As a BACP registered member I fully commit to their Ethical Framework, working ethically and safely as a professional but also as a person with integrity.
My first session
Finding the right therapist is all about connection, so I offer a free intitial 30 minute phone consultation to talk about what has brought you to counselling and to see whether you feel we could work together. If it feels right, we'll take it from there in arranging our ongoing work together.
