About me and my therapy practice
I am a compassionate and down to earth person with a welcoming nature. My intention as a therapist is to offer you my support and create a comfortable confidential space where you have a chance to be heard and feel understood. I hope together we can build a relationship based on trust so you feel safe enough to freely explore and express your experiences, thoughts and feelings without being judged. My aim is to work alongside you , while together we identify what you hope to gain from therapy, your personal needs or goals and raise self -awareness surrounding the issues that you may be facing in your life.
I am a person centered therapist- which means that I hold an inner belief that each individual has resources within that when discovered and tapped into can enable a person to live a more fulfilling and satisfying life. Each person is unique and therapy is different for every person and my goal is to discover what is suitable for you and tailor to your needs.
I believe that experiencing challenges and difficulties in our lives is all part of being human and it is completely natural to feel that we may need some extra support.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and I adhere to the ethical framework that they provide. I am committed to working safely with clients and have regular clinical supervision to promote ethical practice.
