About me and my therapy practice
Are things getting on top of you and you are feeling like you cant cope with life sometimes? If you are then perhaps talking to someone who is not directly a part of your life, and who is not going judge you or talk about it to others will allow you to be open about your thoughts and feelings.
I firmly believe in the importance of us being able to work together because that trust is imperative to enable effective working and this can sometimes take a little while to build.
I know there can be lots of feelings around seeking out help and it takes a lot of courage to make the first step. In this process you are the expert on you my role is to help you think about you. You are in control of the process ultimately.
In our first session we would have a general chat about what has brought you to see me and to talk about how the process works. It is a more getting to know each other so we can see if we would be happy to work with each other.
