About me and my therapy practice
I think there’s something valuable about sitting down to speak, be heard and pay committed attention to the task of living life more richly.
I’m also aware that psychotherapy can easily contribute to familiar stories about what is normal and ok and how to bring yourself more in line with that. I'm wary of that and prefer instead to affirm the truth of your experience, holding it with compassion and accompanying you in finding ways of living more fully and freely as yourself.
That will likely mean encountering, both within yourself and the wider world, the very structures - social, cultural, political - implicated in what you found hard to live with in the first place.
