About me and my therapy practice
Often life happens at a faster process than we can process. Counselling can give you the space to do this, and as such can be surprisingly valuable.
Some people need a few sessions some longer. either way my integrative training in counselling means I can adapt to each client, whether exploring your past experiences and making sense of them, or immediate concerns that require goals and a focus on solutions.
About My Sessions
I acknowledge that the client is a expert on themselves. I see the sessions as client driven placing value on individual autonomy and reflection rather than analysis. I work cooperatively with the client to assist them to find their own way to personal development and positive change.
I see counselling as a two-way relationship both working towards a better understanding of the difficulties and issues that you are experiencing. I aim to help you to gain the confidence and self-awareness to make better decisions and take more control of your life. I offer a non-judgmental respectful space with a genuine desire for us to work together to help you to better understand yourself and support you to make your own decisions.
I work in the 41 Woodhouse Road Monday to Thursday 9.00 to 9.00pm.
