About me and my therapy practice
I am a Person Centred Counsellor with 16 years’ experience, working within varied establishments within private and public settings, such as NHS, Relate and Cornwall College. Currently a MBACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) member for the past 16 years working in accordance with their code of ethics, receiving regular clinical and management supervision. I have experienced in supervising trainee and associate counsellors who working independently, and manage their own caseload.
People seek therapy for a wide variety of reasons, from coping with major life events, to dealing with depression or anxiety, to simply desiring personal growth and greater self-knowledge.The number of sessions can vary dependent on the client's unique needs and goals.Over the past 16 years I have developed many tools to help my clients explore their emotions and thoughts in a confidential and reassuring environment.
