About me and my therapy practice
Now offering Face to Face sessions.
The most important factor in getting the most from your therapy is the relationship between client and counsellor. This is why I offer a free, 30 minute, no obligation consultation at my dedicated counselling room in Central Milton Keynes so that you can ensure I am the right counsellor for you.
I am an Integrative Counsellor which means that I can offer different approaches to counselling depending on your requirements. I work in a person-centred way at all times which means that I work at your pace throughout.
Practice description
I have experience working with many different clients from all walks of life. My experience includes:
- Service and Assessment Coordinator at Sexual Assault and Abuse Support Service (SAASS) where I continue to work as a counsellor with male and female survivors aged 16+
- GP surgery counsellor
- MIND counsellor
- Counsellor for a Secondary School (aged 11-18)
- Young Person Support worker for Willen Hospice supporting children and young people (aged 6-21) who have a parent or loved one who has died or is receiving end of life care.
My first session
I can appreciate that the idea of counselling can feel daunting, especially if its your first time, which is why I offer a free, 30 minute consultation so we get a chance to meet and explore how we might work together.
When you arrive at Margaret Powell House for the first time I will meet you in the reception area and take you to my counselling room, where we can have an informal chat and you can ask any questions you might have.
