About me and my therapy practice
Now that you are considering counselling you have made the first step towards making the life changes you desire. By working together with me, exploring your thoughts and feelings in a trusting and empathic relationship, you can learn about yourself and bring about those life changes.
I offer counselling in a private and confidential setting where you will not be judged. Sessions take place at my home in a dedicated room, providing privacy and a comfortable environment.
I am trained as a Humanistic Integrative counsellor, which means I can call on a range of disciplines and techniques to suit you as an individual. Once we have built a trusting relationship using dialogue we may move on to utilising more creative methods such as sand tray, timeline, and guided visualisation.
Please phone me for an informal chat, We can then make an appointment at a mutually convenient time for a free 30 minute session to see if counselling will be helpful to you and that we can work together.
As well as my private practice I worked as a Bereavement counsellor for many years with Cruse Bereavement Care.
I am an accredited member of the BACP, and adhere to their Code of Ethics. I am covered by Professional Indemnity insurance.
I attend regular supervision and undertake ongoing training and professional development.
