About me and my therapy practice
My name is Stuart and I am a fully trained and Accredited Counsellor. Beyond this, I also hold a Masters degree in Psychology. I have extensive experience of providing counselling on a wide range of issues, this experience having been gained over the years working as a counsellor for the NHS, universities, hospices and in private practice.
I have extensive experience in working with issues affecting university students and also with people experiencing different forms of fatigue; including chronic fatigue syndrome, cancer related fatigue and in counselling people diagnosed with cancer or their friends and family.
My aim is to provide you with support and help you work through whatever problems to you are facing. As a counsellor, I work without prejudice or judgement and at the pace that best suits you. The focus of the therapy I provide is on helping you understand the causes of the troubles you are facing and to try to help you find solutions that actually work for you. In this way, the work I undertake with clients is a collaboration between us.
