About me and my therapy practice
My name is Stuart and I am a fully trained and Accredited Counsellor. Beyond this, I also hold a Masters degree in Psychology. I have extensive experience of providing counselling on a wide range of issues, this experience having been gained over the years working as a counsellor for the NHS, universities, hospices and private practice.
My aim is to provide you with support and help you work through whatever problems to you are facing. As a counsellor, I work without prejudice or judgement and at the pace that best suits you. The focus of the therapy I provide is on helping you understand the causes of the troubles you are facing and, if you want, to try to help you find a solution that actually works for you. In this way, the work I undertake with clients is a collaboration between us.
I work from home, but I am also available to visit clients at home (although there may be a surcharge for this, depending on distance).
If you would like to book an appointment or have further questions, please get in touch.
