About me and my therapy practice
Let’s be honest, life can be chaotic and demanding at times and sometimes, it can be difficult to express our true emotions and feelings to friends or family, without the fear of being judged or lectured.
As a therapist, I offer clients a safe, non-judgmental space, where your needs can be supported in a secure and honest environment. Through this, it can allow growth and development at the pace you choose. By catering to your pace, it can enable genuine change to occur in your life. I believe in helping clients align with the relationship with themselves to prompt growth and change. Without establishing a profound and deep connection with ourselves, we struggle to embrace new relationships, building genuine connections and difficulties in developing self-compassion or self-confidence. My sessions are your safe space. You are important and deserving of living a fulfilling life, and my aim is to help you embody this. I provide authenticity and compassion in sessions with clients.
Some reasons why you may need therapy:
Are you struggling to feel safe in your body, to a point you feel disconnected from your true self? Do you feel like you’ve developed lack of self-compassion over the years which is impacting your self-esteem? Are you tired of compromising your own feelings and needs for people who do not value you? Has drinking or using drugs become a form of coping or a way to escape from reality? Is your depression, anxiety or low mood causing you to feel worthless? Is your relationship starting to feel like the “same old, same old” routine? If you or someone you are supporting is experiencing any of these feelings, then I can help.
I am BACP registered member and hold a Masters in Addiction Psychology and Counselling, a Bachelor Honours degree in Psychology and Counselling Skills, as well as being an accredited member of Addiction Professionals.

My first session
I offer long term sessions & short terms sessions which can either be conducted using an online platform such as zoom, via telephone or in-person. Before sessions begin, you will be offered a complimentary 20-30 minute consultation. The consultation session ensures that I can meet your needs and that you feel comfortable with the process. Once we have had our telephone consultation, I will invite you to book a session with me, so you can see if I am the right therapist to work with. I like to use the very first session as an informal "chat" to see the areas you are struggling with the most and which therapy-coaching intervention works best for you.
