About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced and qualified counsellor. I understand how difficult it is to contact a counsellor when the time for change has come for you. It is a courageous decision to come to counselling and you are not alone in how you feel. If you are experiencing concern, stress or distress the feelings of anxiety, depression or suicidal thoughts may also be present. Counselling offers you the space to ground yourself and work out a better way forward for you, the mixture of feelings can become clearer by the process of counselling. I will work with you to understand the challenges you face and changes you wish to make.
My priority is to offer you a space to talk freely in confidence without judgement. My approach is integrative which means I use three methods of therapy: Person-Centred, Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I am happy to answer any questions about these approaches. I will work with you in a safe and ethical manner to promote your well-being. I will value you as a unique person and as an equal.
