About me and my therapy practice
Hello and thank you for viewing my page. You may be feeling lost or unsure over what emotions are coming up for you right now but know that you want to heal and get the support you need. To go into therapy can be a vulnerable experience, but I want you to know that it does get better. My aim is for you to truly experience the depth of your emotions and feel that strength within yourself to make positive change. Let us work with the hope in you and walk together on your journey to be the best version of you that you can be.
At this point you may be asking yourself:

Counselling is a life experience where you get to reflect upon, express and explore your feelings and emotions in a non-judgemental and safe space. You get the opportunity to listen and catch up with what your body and mind are wanting to tell you and to make change within your life. The power to freely speak within a friendly, confidential and therapeutic environment can be healing, empowering and liberating.
My way of working is to focus on a relational field – meaning that I will stand by your side and walk with you on your journey through your feelings and thought processes. Coming to counselling is something very personal and I aim to make you feel that you are in a safe, secure and warm space to explore what is going on for you.
I believe that we all have the power to change and grow as human beings. To focus on your feelings and the physical manifestations of the emotions can really bring forward a new awareness to you about yourself. I believe that with tapping into your emotions, you can feel empowered to ignite change within your life.

My first session
Feel free to contact me to book your first session or to have a free 15 minute initial discussion. Once you have booked, we can talk about what you wish to explore within counselling and how I can support you. We would discuss confidentiality in counselling and also the contract that would be agreed between us.
It also gives you the opportunity to see if you are comfortable in counselling space and if you feel you wish to continue with further sessions.
