About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome.
I am a person-centred psychotherapist who works with most of life’s issues, worries and concerns. I work mainly with women and LGBTQ+ people with issues including anxiety, depression, self esteem and relationship difficulties. I have a special interest in pregnancy, birth and postpartum including postnatal depression and anxiety and birth trauma.
Using the person-centred modality, I support you to feel safe and heard. I provide empathy and a non judgemental space and environment to explore feelings and thoughts you may not be able to speak to others in your life about. Together we will work to overcome the issues in your life leading to better self awareness, understanding and resilience.
Practice description
My practice is based from Maitri Yoga Studios, The Mount, Belfast. It is a calm and peaceful setting and sessions take place upstairs in the ‘The Lily Room’ or wheelchair accessible sessions take place in the downstairs ‘Sunflower Room’.
Whether you have experienced counselling before or this is your first time reaching out, please get in contact to discuss us working together. I offer a free telephone consultation to see if we are the right fit and then we can arrange sessions from there.
