About me and my therapy practice
My name is Abby Rawlinson and I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I work with adults for both short-term and open-ended therapy and use a range of modern approaches depending on your needs.
The most important thing to me is providing an open and non-judgemental space where you can feel free to explore whatever you need. My approach is warm and collaborative and I am experienced in working with people who have a wide range of problems, including issues relating to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, stress, family issues, relationship problems, work-related issues, addictions and life transitions.
I also have 15 years of experience working in the media industry so have first-hand understanding of the particular demands, challenges and struggles of working in both corporate and creative settings.
Therapy can be daunting at first and many people wonder what it might be like. It’s important to click with your therapist, which is why I view a first session as a consultation - a time for me to get to know you, and for you to experience working with me. If you’re interested to know more then drop me an email and we can take it from there.
