About me and my therapy practice
After dedicating 17 years to the NHS, tending to physical health, I’ve chosen to shift my focus to mental well-being.
My aim is to create a safe haven for us to develop a good working relationship which will provide the space for your thoughts, feelings, and dreams. I am dedicated to helping individuals overcome emotional, behavioural, and psychological challenges in their lives. If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship problems, or any other life stressors, I can offer a non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts and feelings.
Hello my name is Karen and I'm a qualified integrative counsellor. Which means I am trained in techniques from different types of therapy which enables me to tailor an approach specifically for you.
By working together, we can identify underlying issues, develop coping strategies, and establish achievable goals that will enhance your mental and emotional wellbeing. Seeking therapy is a courageous and worthwhile step in taking control of your life to achieve personal growth, self-improvement, healing, and ultimately live a more fulfilled life.
My first session
I offer a free 15 minute initial consultation, when we can get to know each other a little, discuss what has brought you to counselling and any goals you may have.
