About me and my therapy practice

Difficult relationships, experiences, challenges, and/or changes in our lives can affect our behaviour and how we feel. We may be left feeling confused, anxious, frightened, stressed, hurt, traumatised, angry, sad, worried, and stuck. We may be struggling to sleep, lacking motivation, taking more risks, having nightmares or flashbacks, our thoughts may be worrying or disturbing, our relationships may be unfulfilling, and we may be relying on substances or other unhealthy ways of coping. You and/or people in your life may wish things could be different, but it's often hard to know where to begin. Asking for help is a big first step.

I’m a clinically trained Child, Adolescent and Family Psychodynamic and EMDR Trauma Therapist, accredited by the BPC and a registered member of the BACP. I am the founder and Company Director of a Community Interest Company, and I have 13 years experience working with children, young people and families. I’m best known for my work within communities; co-creating highly flexible support outside of clinics. Alongside this I offer some private therapy, supervision, and consultation.

Therapy with me is collaborative & culturally sensitive; together we'll look to develop new ways of understanding you, your relationships, thoughts, feeling & emotions, matching a treatment to your needs. I offer a free 20 minute consultation, to see whether I'm the right therapist for you, if we are not a good fit I will try to help you find someone who is.

About me and my therapy practice

I’m a clinically trained Child, Adolescent and Family Psychodynamic and EMDR Trauma Therapist, accredited by the BPC and a registered member of the BACP.

I am one of the Founders and Company Director of Partisan (www.partisanuk.org) and have 13 years experience working with children, young people and families. I’m best known for my work with communities; co-producing highly flexible, culturally competent support outside of clinics to meet the unmet mental health needs of marginalised, stigmatised and excluded people. My expertise is in working with trauma, particularly with children, young people and families who have been affected by violence and exploitation. However alongside this work I offer some private therapy, supervision, and community and corporate consultation, so my skillset is much broader than this.

Similarly to my work with communities, I recognise that no organisation or individuals clinical support needs are the same, and my model reflects this. Supervision with me is highly flexible, collaborative, and co-produced to meet your needs.

I offer a free 20 minute consultation, to see whether I'm the right therapist for you, if not I'll try to help you find someone who is.
