About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced psychotherapist and counsellor and an accredited bereavement counsellor and used to work for Cruse Bereavement Care. I am co-chair of the Oxford Psychotherapy Society. I am also a member of OTS - www.otscentre.co.uk - a diverse community of counsellors and therapists from a wide range of therapeutic orientations, offering a wide range of psychological therapies, methods and therapy formats. A one-stop access and referral point for the general public, helping you find the ‘right’ therapy and the ‘right’ therapist for you. I work for an Employee Assistance Provider - Care First - which means I provide short term focused based counselling for clients who have issues involving their employment.
I am also an approved psychotherapist for Oxford University, and receive student referrals from their doctoral course in Clinical Psychology.
I have worked within the NHS setting in both London and Oxford, working with many clients, covering a wide range of issues. I have also worked as a Mental Health Advocate and Youth Mentor.
My practice is a 15-20 minute walk from Oxford City Centre, in Plater Drive, Jericho and is located in a quiet room within my home. There is free parking and bike racks available. There is also a reliable bus service to Jericho from the city centre.
