About me and my therapy practice
Depending on your needs, I offer short or long term counselling.
I am a qualified therapist with over 10 years of experience.
If you are struggling with anxiety, depression or low mood, or need support on a specific issue, counselling can help manage or work through these issues. I use the pluralistic approach in therapy in that I explore with the client what therapy might be best for them.
I am here to listen in a nonjudgmental safe and confidential space. If you are having a difficult time, feeling overwhelmed or unsure where to turn, therapy can support you through this time. Simply sharing problems and talking about them can help to ease overwhelming feelings and therapy can offer insights in how you can manage life's worries.
I have experience of working with adults in private practice as well as young people and adolescents in university and school environments.
My first session
Before you decide to continue therapy with me, I offer a phone consultation which normally lasts no longer than 20 minutes. This allows me to find out more about why you have sought out therapy and to see if you would like to continue with me as your therapist. It is important for you to find the right person that you feel comfortable with. This consultation is free.
