About me and my therapy practice
Does life feel difficult, and do you want things to change? Does your relationship need help? Imagine if you woke up every morning feeling lighter, motivated, and more connected to others. I can support you to explore your personal challenges in a safe, warm, and non-judgmental environment that is focused on your needs.
I work with adults and young people 16+ (individuals and couples) with a range of problems such as relationship troubles, anxiety, depression, stress, bereavement, life transitions, parenting, family, university, health, work related stress, and more. Clients tell me they feel empowered and able to make permanent changes when we have worked together.
I have worked in a caring profession for over 20 years, and I have been trained by Relate (the Relationship Charity) as a Relationship Therapist. I am also an Autism mentor and I work with university students to help them overcome barriers and thrive during their studies. I believe my combination of life experience, caring, empathetic approach and training will benefit you on your journey.
Relationship therapy explores the ways in which you want your relationship to change, and how to get there. You may come alone or with a partner. I will support you to see the challenges from all perspectives and together we will explore tools and strategies to disrupt unhelpful behaviours and share feelings.
I look forward to meeting you and promise the warmest of welcomes.
Practice description
I work at your pace and in the way you want and need. I offer flexible appointments to suit your commitments and we can hold our sessions online (via telephone or video), face to face or a combination of all. I offer face to face sessions in Warrington or Lymm, and if you require a remote session, you can be anywhere in the country.
My aim is to create a calm, safe space for you, and I work in a wellness centre that is comfortable and welcoming. We are a community of therapists who support each other and there may be other holistic therapists you can engage with after our sessions, such as yoga instructors and facialists.
My sessions last 50 minutes and I can offer short or long-term therapy.
My first session
I offer a free, no obligation 20-minute telephone session so we can get to know each other, and you can ask any questions to help you feel comfortable.
In our first 50-minute session, we will agree how we will work together and the focus of your next sessions.
I know how hard it can be to reach out for counselling. Start your journey by emailing, phoning, or completing the contact form on my website. Take care, and I will be waiting to welcome you.
