About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced counsellor/psychotherapist and mindfulness teacher, who offers a calm, non-judgemental and confidential environment to explore the difficult areas in your life. I will help to understand your problems and together work to identify changes you wish to make.
I have worked for 20 years with individuals, couples, families and young people in a variety of settings. I specialise in areas such as anger, anxiety, assertiveness, stress, depression, couple counselling, changing circumstances, bereavement and loss and family conflicts and life coaching.
I am happy to include mindfulness into our work together, if this something you might feel would be helpful.
My aim is to focus on you and what is important for you, so together we achieve a positive outcome.
Following your inquiry you will be invited to a free, initial session, which allows us to explore your concerns and look at how we may work together.
Some people find a few weekly sessions, 6-8 to be enough. Others may choose to come for longer. At the initial session we will assess and agree your individual needs, expected outcomes and timescales.
I offer counselling face to face, telephone or skype, whichever is convenient for you.
