About me and my therapy practice
You may be struggling with feeling overwhelmed or stuck, or you may be feeling empty or raw. Something big might have happened in your life that you can't quite get your head around. Life can be tough and sometimes you need space to pause and think about you.
One way to describe therapy is that it’s using my head to help explore what might be going on in yours. It’s somewhere that you can feel safe to open up and you know you won’t be judged or criticized.
I work with clients to examine different parts of themselves, think about how their past might have affected them and bit-by-bit explore what might be happening without you even realising.
It can be a chance to be a bit more vulnerable and examine what might be happening inside your relationships and why you might be pushed to do the things that you.
Therapy can help with feeling heard and supported, less anxious, understanding what's happening in your relationships and finding your voice.
Practice description
I am an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist working in Brighton and Hove.
My practice is hopeful but realistic. I can offer you a safe and warm but challenging space to work towards understanding what might be happening for you, spot patterns, talk about how it feels, resolve conflicts and move towards potential change.
We can work together to notice those things that you tend to do, wonder why you might do them and then perhaps experiment with doing something different.
It's a chance to find understanding and acceptance and to feel more whole and more like you, free from feelings like guilt and shame.
My first session
I offer a FREE 30 minute face-to-face introductory session. I'ts crucial to find a counsellor who you feel comfortable with. In this first session we can talk about what you might like to get from therapy and you can see if you'd like to work together without an obligation to continue.

I currently have some space for new supervisees.
About me and my therapy practice
I work as a qualified psychodynamic clinical supervisor and have a Diploma in Supervision from The Link Centre.
My approach is psychodynamic but I also work with supervisees who practice via different modalities.
Practice description
I strive to be supportive, containing, maybe a bit educative (if there's resources or books I think might be useful).
I concentrate on counter-transference and transference, what might be happening unconsciously and believe thinking about difference is important. I aim to let you lead and not be too directive.
We can contract together on the frequency of the sessions and their format.
