About me and my therapy practice
Have you been struggling with depression and anxiety? Do you feel your life has become stuck in repeating behaviours which are affecting your life? Have you been suffering from a recent loss? Perhaps you would like to explore your thoughts and feelings in a warm and secure environment.
I am a qualified psychodynamic counsellor and psychotherapist offering short-term and open-ended therapy (ongoing). I work using a psychodynamic approach, which means we will explore links between your past and present bringing a deeper understanding to some of the roots of your difficulties not just the symptoms.
Psychodynamic psychotherapy can help you to make lasting changes to your relationships and emotional well-being. It brings awareness and understanding to the issues you are struggling with, to understand why you feel the way you do, or why relationships have taken a particular form. With greater self-awareness comes healthier ways of being and relating. It can also help with sudden challenges in life such as loss and bereavement
Practice description

This could be followed by a 50 minutes initial meeting where we will decide whether psychodynamic psychotherapy is appropriate for you, and if we feel we might work well together.
If we decide to continue, we will have weekly online meetings of 50 minutes each at the same arranged time and day of the week.
