About me and my therapy practice

Are you are feeling isolated, have anxiety or depression, are struggling with communication or relationship issues or trying to cope post pandemic? Maybe you are dealing with health issues or have experienced a recent loss or bereavement. I am now open for face-to-face as well as online sessions.

I have professional and also significant personal experience of dealing with life altering and traumatic situations and events and living with chronic illness and stress. I work in a person centred and existential way, helping clients to navigate their way through overwhelm, emotional issues and challenging situations. I can also work with you to support good mental and physical health via a range of wellbeing and self-care approaches including meditation, relaxation and Emotional Freedom Technique.

I am a trained bereavement counsellor having worked for a local hospice; facilitated support and wellbeing groups for adults experiencing depression and anxiety for a mental health charity and have worked with clients across a broad spectrum of issues for a counselling agency.

I work with clients on a long and short-term basis and aim to be flexible in my approach to accommodate client’s personal and financial circumstances. Initially I suggest weekly sessions but also offer alternate weeks and monthly check-ins as we move towards the end of our work together.

If you contact me by phone or email, I would be very happy to talk through how we might work together.
