About me and my therapy practice
I am a BACP accredited therapist, working with individuals. I work in a way that helps you to process difficulties, whilst offering a supportive space to explore your experiences and feelings. Working this way helps you to identify your own resources, resilience and strengths and to encourage positive change. approach of therapy I offer in pluralistic, which means that different people are helped by different processes and activities at different times, and that the best way of deciding on how therapy should proceed is to engage you into a process of shared decision-making.
This can be by working towards therapeutic goals, or maybe where you can share your story. Whatever your preference i will offer you a safe, confidential and non-judgemental where you share whatever is troubling you.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a BACP Accredited Pluralistic Counsellor and Supervisor and draw upon a broad spectrum of psychotherapeutic knowledge and tune my approach to match the uniqueness of each supervisee I work with.
I have qualifications in Integrative therapies and CBT and additional training and experience in Psychosexual Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Psychodynamic. I work with the Seven Eyed Model of supervision which focuses on the relationships between your client, you as the therapist and your supervisor and the interplay between each relationship.
Practice description
I can offer supervision to qualified counsellors, and also trainee's who are looking for a supportive supervisory relationship. Using the functions of supervision, we can work with your caseload to explore your concerns, enhance your self awareness and professional development. I am able to work with a range of presenting issues that your clients have, and also the impact this can have on you, as their therapist.
During supervision, I will ensure your needs are being met, and highlight the importance of self care. In doing this, I will be able to tailor supervision to your own needs, and offer an approach that is appropriate to you.
Supervision will be offered at the appropriate ratio to your professional bodies requirements, or as a 'add on', to those who need further support.
Currently, I work as clinical lead in a local hospice, where I have my own caseload of clients and supervisees, and the management of many volunteers in a busy bereavement service. I have also worked in local colleges / universities as a senior lecturer in Counselling. Other work has included working for the NHS, within an IAPT service, Charitable work in local schools as a CYP counsellor, private counselling practice and local counselling training organisations offering tuition of counselling courses, counselling and service management.
My first session
I can offer a free 15 minute session to see if we can work together. I would recommend that you ask all the questions you need during this time together. If we decide we can proceed, a contract will be emailed to you along with confirmation of your future sessions etc.
Supervision is charged at £75 for a 90 minute session.
Students, please contact me to discuss a reduction in fees.

Practice description
I am a fully qualified counselling lecturer with many years experience. During my time teaching at local colleges, I have managed a large counselling provision, and taught all courses from Level 2, Counselling Skills, to BA (Hons) in Therapeutic Counselling. I have high expectations as a counselling lecturer, and always had outstanding results. What this means, is that I can help you with your academic studies, communicate educational requirements in real language, and support your journey whilst you are at college or university. (Please note, this will alongside your course, and not as a replacement. Any academic work, will still need to be completed by you)
My first session
A 15 minute meeting to see if we can work together, If we find that we can, then a written contract will be sent to you to share with your tutors, to demonstrate transparency in regard to the support you will receive.
I can work with groups, if you have peers you want to work with on a common project. Please contact me to discuss the rates for this service.
