About me and my therapy practiceI view each individual as no more or less than any other. Mental health is something that we all struggle with to varying degrees at various times. The extent to which this is experienced depends on the individual and their own set of life experiences, personal and family history, and genetic-biological make-up. Thus, I incorporate all of these elements in my work. My own position is one where I have always held a deep respect for the uniqueness and courage of each individual that I have ever encountered throughout my life. I am strong, safe and deeply caring. I am also skilled at shedding light on the darkest areas in a way that brings a clarity and newfound strength to the individual.
The areas that I specialise in are:
Trauma (where I have carried out extensive trauma processing), Dissociative conditions (for example, non-epileptic attack disorder), Hearing voices, Psychosis, Substance misuse, and Personality disorders.
I also have a great deal of experience involving anxiety, depression, health conditions, identity problems, loss and anger issues.
