About me and my therapy practice

I am an Integrative Counsellor, which means I provide bespoke support to help achieve your goals. My approach is humanistic (which means I help you find your own path). Together we can find a way to find meaning and purpose and access your intuition, find your faith and inner wisdom. With this inner strength, you can face your fears and discover how to live life to its fullest.

My practice invites you to come to the present moment to a place of safety and relaxation to find clarity, acceptance and space for new, empowering thoughts. I work in an empathic and non-judgemental way to help you to honour and nurture your deepest soul calling.

I am passionate about freedom. Freedom from the painful thoughts in the mind, freedom of choice, freedom to live life the way you want to without feeling dictated about who you should be. I can help you gain that empowerment. I believe there is an incredible power and intelligence within you; it’s a matter of learning that your mind is not in control rather you are in control of your mind. You can stop thinking those old negative thoughts and beliefs. When you do, you can align yourself with your inner power and intelligence to find beauty, truth and healing.

Practice description

Amongst the many ‘tools’ I have available, looking at your past patterns, discovering the parts of yourself who sabotage and letting them go. Visualisation is a creative way to replace negative thoughts with new patterns. Meditation helps you slow down thoughts so they can be identified, there are many forms of meditation. Mindfulness is beneficial, as you can pay attention to what is really going on inside, (as opposed to what should be going on or what we would like to be going on). I can help you to be able to catch the generally unnoticed crippling negative beliefs which can sometimes come from outside influences.

There are many ways to achieve the same goal, including art therapy. I would love to help you find joy and freedom in your life, so let’s work together to see what is right for you.

About me and my therapy practice

We have become highly skilled in the development of technology, but we are organic. The land we live on provides food, shelter, medicine and comfort.  By developing a closer and more direct relationship to the land we automatically feel independence, safety and empowerment. Silent Haven is a hand built off grid lodge surrounded by 20 acres of woodland and is designed for humans to live simply and independantly in their natural surroundings. Ecotherapy helps to begin to cut out the fearful dialogue from others about how safe you are on this planet. The land  helps you to feel spiritual, physical and emotional health. Retreats are also available where you can enjoy longer stays in the woodland.

Practice description

Time at Silent Haven will teach you how to strengthen your inner and outer resources. Discover and deepen your relationship to nature through talkiing therapy directly in nature.  Play with written exercises and drawing, simply walk on the land and observe, learn about foraging free food and medicines, make a fire, plant seeds and see them grow. Realign yourself to your true nature.

My first session

The first half hour session is free. You can see whether I am the right counsellor for you and if you resonate with the land around you. We can discuss your needs and some of the excercises we may do. It is an organic process and new excercises may evolve depending on what you discover about yourself. If you want to go ahead, the next time we meet, I will ask you to sign a simple agreement about confidentiality and how our sessions will be.
