About me and my therapy practice
We all find life hard to cope with at times. You may be experiencing anxiety, stress or depression; relationship issues or sexual difficulties; or grieving for the loss of a loved one. Perhaps you're at a crossroads in your life and unsure of which way to go?
Whatever you're experiencing, I can help you make sense of your feelings, give you time to talk and understand yourself and your life better. In time, you will feel more confident and in control, and find a way forward.
I’m a fully qualified, experienced counsellor and psychotherapist. I work with individuals, couples and other types of relationships, for example families and friends, or people in polyamorous relationships. I’m also a psychosexual (sex) therapist.
How I work
We’re all very different and I don’t believe that a single approach to both short-term counselling and longer-term psychotherapy works for everyone. I tailor my approach to focus on your individual needs and to make each session meaningful.
How long will it take?
I'm often asked this question! Some people feel ok after 6 – 12 sessions; for others it could be 6 months or more.
Individuals: £55 per session before 6pm | £60 after 6pm
- Couples: £70 per 50-minute session or £90 per 75-minute session before 6pm | £80 and £100 after 6pm
- All other relationship therapy: £70 per 50-minute session or £90 per 75-minute session before 6pm | £80 and £100 after 6pm

I'm still accepting new clients during this tough time for all of us.
As we can't meet face to face, I'm offering phone and video sessions instead.
My first session
The first session focuses on me getting to know a bit more about you, why you're seeking therapy and your expectations or goals.
If you are coming as a couple, I do a more detailed 'assessment' so that I can get to know you as a couple and as individuals. The first session is with both of you, then I see you individually for one session.
The initial sessions are a bit different from other sessions as I'll be asking more questions and making notes.
