About me and my therapy practice
At the outset of any journey, a multitude of questions tend to surface. These questions can weigh heavily: How do I choose the right therapist? What form of therapy will truly resonate with me? Will this therapist genuinely understand my current life circumstances? Can I genuinely find the assistance I so desperately seek? It's natural for these questions to feel boundless, but one thing remains unwavering—this is indeed a journey. With time, understanding, a sense of shared purpose, and open-heartedness, these uncertainties can gradually transform into answers.
My approach is rooted in the belief that every client's situation is unique, and I am dedicated to discovering the individualized tools necessary to navigate your therapeutic journey, regardless of what has brought you to this point in life. Your place in life holds profound significance, and I honor that.
Finding the right therapist can be a challenging quest, but starting therapy is a courageous and deeply humbling first step. Drawing from my experience working in both the United States and the United Kingdom, I bring a distinct perspective to my practice, one that is attuned to the individual needs of my clients. As an integrative psychotherapist, I provide a nurturing sanctuary for you to explore and reconnect with your inner self. This may involve revisiting the past, illuminating the hidden aspects of your being, or progressing toward a more authentic, mindful self.
My extensive experience covers a wide range of areas, but I have specific interests in assisting individuals with their personal and career successes while grappling with internal stagnation, addressing inner wounds, working through and embracing neurodivergence, nurturing mental health, and supporting personal growth. Together, we can move beyond the shadows of depression and trauma, guiding you towards the rediscovery of your most authentic self.
Practice description
I'm a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) with an MA in Integrative Therapy from Roehampton University and a Foundation Diploma in Integrative Therapy from The Minster Centre. Over the past 14 years, I've had the privilege of working in the field of psychotherapy and mental health. Recently, I had the honor of serving as the Head of Academy and Supervisor for one of the UK's largest low-cost online therapy providers. In this role, my purpose was to guide and support other counselors in their professional growth.
As a supervisor for this compassionate community-based company, my commitment always revolves around embracing a diverse range of ideas and perspectives. I draw inspiration from various sources, including philosophy, spirituality, self-help, the power of inner creativity, the courage to face life's challenges, acts of altruism, the pursuit of meaningful career goals, and the essential practice of self-compassion. It is my heartfelt mission to create a nurturing and inclusive environment that fosters growth and well-being for all.
My first session
We start with a 20-minute conversation where you have the privacy to talk freely. Within this short time, I will ground the discussion with professional trust and explore any safeguarding issues (if any) to ensure your needs stay within my professional competencies. Then we will examine your/our requirements, preferences, concerns, and fee. If all this feels right for us, I will send you some documentation to review carefully and proceed with our first session. I hope this gives you more comfort and clarity. If there are any other queries, please feel free to ask.

About me and my therapy practice
At the beginning of any journey, there will be many unanswered questions. How do I pick the right therapist? What type of therapy will work best? Will this therapist understand my position in life? Can I find the help I am looking for? These questions can be endless, but one certainty is true; this is a journey. In any journey, there is a beginning, middle and end. Initially, there might be much worry, mistrust, and wonder. Understanding, mutuality, and openness may be achieved as the journey progresses. My approach is to treat every client's situation as unique and find the tools to evolve within ourselves and our journey. These tools arise from looking at creativity, deconstruction, humour, and trustful dialogue. I find insight from the exchange of relational depth within therapy. Whatever has brought you here, that space in life matters.
It is never easy to find the right therapist, but the ability to start therapy is a courageous and humbling good start. As a therapist, it is essential to own many things. One is demonstrating/communicating when life shifts appear, which helps you evolve past the turmoil that brought you to therapy. However your journey may look, it will be facilitated through a mutually respectful relationship held by professional and ethical boundaries. These boundaries create a space where we can explore the complexities that carried you here, the importance of developing an understanding of yourself, and what constitutes your inner freedom. This exploration will be held by care and the spirit of relational depth wherever it goes. As these depths occur, the hope is to bring awareness to your unique position in this world.
Practice description
My collective practice accumulates to fourteen years as a behaviour interventionist and psychotherapist. As a practitioner who has worked in the UK and the US, I can bring a unique position to my practice and clients' needs. As an integrative psychotherapist, I provide a space where you can explore and find your inner freedom. This can be achieved by reprinting the past, making the invisible visible, or evolving/moving into an authentic, mindful position. In my work, I have assisted clients in exploring childhood trauma, identity, sexual abuse, otherness, low familial self-worth, work anxiety, and much more
Before my private practice, I worked as Head of Academy and Peer Support for one of the largest low-cost online therapy providers in the UK. In this position, I led multiple platforms, from organising workshops with some of the leading figures in Psychotherapy to delivering training and support for trainee therapists. For ten years prior, I was an interventionist in the behaviour field; before that, I was an artist. Like any relationship, it is good to try and see if I am for you. Thank you for your time, and I leave you with one of my favourite quotes:
“Look well into thyself; there is a source of strength which will always spring up if thou wilt always look there.” - Marcus Aurelius
