About me and my therapy practice
Since starting to see clients early in 2007 I have come across many different people and their life experiences. I have also developed as a therapist during that time as my experience has expanded and I have taken on more training.
I offer a free initial session in my counselling room, which adjoins my home in a peaceful rural setting with ample free parking, and have a chat. You can ask any questions you may have (there are no silly questions), maybe tell me a little of why you have come, and you can begin to get a sense of who I am and how I work.
We can also talk about frequency and cost of sessions. I usually suggest that we meet weekly, however this is up to you; we would talk about how the work is going at regular intervals throughout our time together and you can decide to finish whenever you feel ready.
At the end of the initial session you can either make an appointment for another one, or you can go away and think about it.
There is more information about me, the way I work, and what my fees are, on my website; you can also see a photograph of my counselling room.
I am also a qualified supervisor of individuals and groups.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a Person-Centred practitioner offering supervision based on the Normative, Formative and Restorative approach (otherwise know as Policing, Plumbing and Poetry!). My aim is to build a consultative, collaborative relationship with my supervisees, balancing challenge and support in order to develop an atmosphere in which each person can fulfil their potential.
My therapy room is large enough to accommodate a small group and I am happy to discuss rates for group supervision. I also offer a reduced rate for counsellors in training.
In 2013 I was awarded a Diploma in Individual and Group Supervision awarded by Cascade. For over eight years I was Counselling Coordinator at Sussex Community Counselling which offers placements to trainee counsellors as well as having a team of qualified practitioners.
I can provide trauma-informed supervision having attended training with Miriam Taylor on Working with Trauma: The Role of the Supervisor.
Practice description
I offer hour long sessions for which my fee is £55. I can also offer hour and a half sessions for which I charge £75. I can provide supervision at a frequency to suit you, I am also available between sessions in the event of an emergency.
I enjoy working with counsellors in training and offer a reduced rate.
