About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I'm Matthew and I work in Hunters Bar / Psalter Lane S11.
We all seek therapy for different reasons. Often because we feel stuck, overwhelmed or hurt.
You might be struggling with a relationship, coping with stress or hoping to change a behaviour that is not working for you.
As a psychotherapist and counsellor, I aim to meet you in places like these and help you to grow in whichever way you feel is right. I won't tell you what to do, but I will assist you in finding a way forward for yourself.
As well as practising counselling and psychotherapy indoors, I am also trained in "Wild Therapy", a different approach where your sessions could take place outdoors. If this is something that interests you or you would like any more information about this, please let me know.

I have 6 years of experience of working as a counsellor and over 14 years experience of working 1-2-1 in the helping professions.
I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from The Minster Centre awarded by Middlesex University.
I have wide experience of working as a counsellor in different settings including Higher Education, the NHS, with staff and parents in schools, and in a charity. I have experience of short-term and long-term work.
I charge £60 per session, with some lower-cost appointments available for students or those on a limited income. Sessions usually last for 50 minutes, although longer sessions can be negotiated.
